Oscars 2016 Best and Worst Dresses
Yeah! The Oscars are back! This red carpet of this year was so glamorous. Well, it helps a lot when it’s not pouring down outside unlike last year. I have to admit it was REALLY hard to pick my worst dresses. But I did it!
Here’s my Oscars 2016 Best and Worst Dresses! Enjoy lovelies!
1. Daisey Ridley in Chanel
The Star Wars actress was my favourite look of the night. She looked both sophisticated and chic in that shimmering silver gown. And what about that subtle touch of red on her lips? She was perfect!
2. Priyanka Chopra in Zuhair Murad
Classy and beautiful, Priyanka Chopra stunned on the red carpet in that perfect white lace dress. I like how she completed her look with that Rauwolf clutch, and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry. She looked so romantic.
3. Margot Robbie in Tom Ford
I know, some of you might think that she kind of looks like Oscar (the statuette), but who cares. The Aussie actress dazzled in her long-sleeved gold dress.
4. Olivia Munn in Stella McCartney
The actress brightened up the red carpet in this gorgeous orange Stella McCartney dress. I love the simplicity of it. She was the perfect example of less is more.
5. Cate Blanchett in Armani Privé
Cate was all feathers yesterday night. I adore the colours and cut of the dress, but I really have trouble with those appliqués. They are a bit too much. Still, she was so glamorous.
1. Olivia Wilde in Valentino
There are too many things to look at. The pleated skirt, the plunging neckline, the necklace, etc. God, I’m feeling dizzy now!
2. Kerri Washington in Versace
Kerri wanted to look fierce. She’s a gladiator! We got that. But, there was something off with that dress. That leather top and that long silk skirt just didn’t work together.
3. Lady Gaga in Brandon Maxwell
I love the idea of hidden pants, but don’t wear a low neckline when your breasts don’t allow it.
1. Kate Winslet in Ralph Lauren
Is that a fancy garbage bag? What happened to you Kate? I’m still wondering.
2. Heidi Klum in Marchesa
Ok, that gown looked like a bathrobe. Heidi seemed to be stuck in the 70’s.
3. Sofia Vergara in Marchesa
There were too many things going on that dress. Beside, there was something awkward with those beads.
4. Jennifer Lawrence in Dior
When I find her nude and black bodice absolutely beautiful, I’m having a hard time with the cascading layers of black lace. So, I guess I (half) hate that dress!
That’s about it my darlings. My Oscars 2016 Best and Worst Dresses roundup is over. Tell me, what’s your favourite look?
